C.P. Radhakrishnan elected Vice-President

  • NDA nominee and Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan was elected the Vice-President of India after securing 452 votes as against the joint Opposition nominee Justice B. Sudershan who secured 300 votes.
  • C.P. Radhakrishnan becomes the 17th Vice-President of India with a margin of 152 votes.
