- Hundreds of students gathered at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, Ranchi.
- Protest is against alleged irregularities in competitive exams for government jobs.
- Agitation entered its 13th day.
Exams Under Scrutiny
- Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Combined Civil Services Examination
- Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission–Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) Examination
Main Demands
- CBI inquiry into the alleged exam irregularities.
- Action against those responsible.
- Cancellation of the Preliminary Test of the 14th JPSC Civil Services Examination.
- Review of exams conducted through agencies, including TSR Data Processing Pvt. Ltd.
Talks with Government
- Students formed an 11-member delegation.
- Government constituted a 4-member committee for discussions.
- Delegation includes:
- 8 student representatives
- 1 journalist
- 1 guardian
- 1 legal expert
- Journalists and legal experts will act only as mentors and will not participate in discussions or carry recording devices.
Student Stand
- Students said they are ready for talks.
- Protest will continue until the government takes a concrete decision on their demands.
Investigation
- Jharkhand CID is investigating the alleged irregularities.
- 19 persons have been arrested so far.
