PM inaugurates Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow to honour the life and ideals of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and two other Bharatiya Janata Party icons and Hindutva ideologues Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mookerjee.
- Spread over 65 acres, close to the banks of the Gomti river, shaped like a lotus, reflecting the BJP’s election symbol, the memorial has three towering bronze statues of the late leaders.
- Describing the event marking the late Prime Minister’s 101st birth anniversary as historic, Mr. Modi said Lucknow was witnessing a new inspiration on Good Governance Day.
