Fresh push to implement PM SHRI in Bengal, Kerala, and T.N.

- The Union Ministry of Education has issued a fresh reminder regarding the pending implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme to West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu after Assembly elections concluded in the three States.
Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme
- PM SHRI Scheme was launched in September 2022, as a five-year initiative to transform over 14,500 schools into “exemplar institutions” that lead the way in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
