•Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘One Station, One Product’ (OSOP) stalls at 205 railway stations.

•The OSOP scheme promotes the ‘Local for Vocal’ vision of the Government of India.

•It provides a market for local/indigenous products and creates additional income generation opportunities for the marginalised sections of society.

The pilot of the scheme was started in March 2022.

•OSOP include artefacts made by indigenous tribes, handlooms by local weavers, handicrafts, zari-zardozi work on clothes, or spices tea, coffee and other processed/semi processed food item.

•Product categories, under this scheme, include the following:

1.Handicrafts/ Artefacts

2.Textiles and Handlooms

3.Traditional Garments

4.Local agricultural produce
